<description>Runpod MCP server (GitHub): https://github.com/runpod/runpod-mcp Docs: https://docs.runpod.io/get-started/mcp-servers Create a Runpod account: https://runpod.io Node.js: https://nodejs.org Claude Code: https://docs.claude.com/en/docs/claude-code Runpod's official MCP server connects your Runpod account directly to Claude Code, so you can check what's running, spin up pods, and deploy Serverless endpoints without leaving your terminal. This walkthrough covers the whole setup from scratch: creating an API key, installing Node, adding the MCP server to Claude Code, and then putting it to work listing your existing resources and deploying new ones. You'll need Claude Code installed and a Runpod account with billing enabled. Everything else gets set up on camera. The server is open source under Apache 2.0, and while this video uses Claude Code, it works with any MCP-compatible client including Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code. One note before you start: the API key you create grants full access to your account, so use a dedicated key for this rather than your main one, and never commit it.</description>
